A Royal Caribbean cruise ship called The Anthem of the Seas was heading to the Bahamas from New Jersey recently when it got caught in a storm. The winds reached speeds of 150 miles per hour and the ship hit angles of 45 degrees throughout the night. The passengers on board suffered minor injuries but the entire inside of the ship is trashed.

Charlotte Stevens was walking on Vancouver Island's Botanical Beach recently when they found a mysterious shoe. Upon further investigation they realized that the shoe contained a severed foot so they turned it over to the police. This is the sixteenth shoe with a severed foot to be found along the coast of the pacific northwest in nine years.

Stephen Fry has described Uganda’s minister for Ethics and Integrity, Simon Lokodo as a "foaming, frothing, homophobe of the worst kind." Fry says that the minister looked down on him for being homosexual and told him he would be arrested if he tried to promote his lifestyle where he's from. Fry then attempted suicide by mixing vodka and pills before a hotel worker found him and get him medical attention.
