As a cute girl, I just feel really uncomfortable when random guys buy me drinks. When I'm out with my friends, I just want to have fun with them, not be waving off a bunch of popped collar morons trying to buy their way in with alcohol.

I agree with about 89% of your post. I dont feel that girls that sleep around have less respect for themselves than girls that don't. Girls have sex drives, the same way men do. Would you say a man who sleeps around has no respect for himself? No. I don't view sex as this SACRED thing. It's an act, something to share with some one else. So long as you're safe, have sex with whoever you want however often you want.

Second, you seem to place a lot of emphasis on body type making you as shallow-if not more for not wanting to be as shallow-as the collar-popped 'douches'. Your 'Open-minded' friend is the one who had sex with the big girl. I don't think sex with the plus sized means youre open minded at all; it means that image doesn't mean anything to you. You either love sex and so will have it off with anyone, or you genuinely like people for who they are rather than what they look like, nothing open minded about it.

That being said, it is a nowhere road to buy girls drinks, as it's a game; one that they run. They KNOW they're the gate keepers of sex and anyone foolish enough to fall into a trap deserves to lose money. I don't play the games on the midway for a reason.

A short answer would be, "I know that buying you a drink does not automatically entitle me to go to bed with you, but can you imagine actually going to bed with someone who didn't buy you a drink? I don't pay for sex."

as a woman who doesn't go to bars, i guess i kind of get your point...but still... you are, in effect playing a game when you go to a bar to do this type of thing. what you are proposing is changing the rules. while i can sort of agree with certain of your statements(kind of), you have got to realize that this point of view you have is going to alienate women and result in you wasting your time hanging out in bars completely if all you are looking for is a date or a score. but you should also be aware that if you are looking for a quality woman, you are not going to find her in a bar.

Totally Agree. One of the most beautiful, impressive girls I´ve ever met in a bar wouldn´t let me buy her a drink even though I offered her to. We did have a drink, but she paid for her´s and I paid for mine. Instantly loved her. Since then I learned the lesson and I will never again buy a drink for a girl unless I really feel like it.

same damn thing everywhere. i've been that guy who refused to buy a pretty girl a drink several times. the looks i get are priceless, i laugh in their face and walk away. the basis for this is the same reason i hate strip clubs.

oh thank you so much dude, you made a stand for all men. i myself have never bought a girl a drink, other than really close friends of whom i had no such expectations. it totally is true though. just cause we're the stereotypical bread winners of the stereotypical family, doesn't mean young men have loads of cash flowing through our accounts.
