Well she has a point, but saying his kid should die rather than the soldier is not the way to go about it.

But how can the soldier be so shocked to be called a murderer after killing a bunch of people?? They may have been in another country but they are still human.

Nobody can deny that it is murder! Defend your country at your own borders, don't invade other countries and start murdering innocent civilians. Brainwashed fools lead to believe it's patriotic. War is about ego, greed and power. The decision is made behind closed doors by a select few and affects a great many. It is nothing else!

Invade other countries and karma will bring that energy back to decay within the walls of your own borders. Death, destruction and incarceration becomes yours. Open up your eyes and look around.

Pulling a trigger is a choice made by the individual. Murder is murder, don't sugar coat it and pretend it's patriotic!

Your 'scenario' does not reflect the phrase 'supporting people to kill is just as bad'. The phrase relates to the fact that soldiers would not even be in afganistan, if it werent for the weapons manufacturers, the logistics team, the people who give the orders etc. This means even if youre doing menial jobs in afganistan, but helping the soldiers who do kill, you are partly to blame because you helped them kill.

There are some roles in the military which are purely humanitarian, such as clearing old mines, providing aid and support after natural disasters etc., so please dont think im attacking the whole military.

We know he was overseas since in the picture he is in full uniform in a place whose architecture and terrain fits the description perfectly. Also, if you look at his twitter account he describes himself as an afgan war veteran.
