It's a bit suspicious that no two artists are repeated anywhere in the country.

Also, what year do these stats come from? George Thorogood? Paul Revere and the Raiders?

It's not the best selling artist in each state. It's the artist from that state that was the most successful. There are no repeats because obviously every person is only from one place. Prince, for example, was from MN.
