An autostereogram is an optical illusion of depth usually observed by allowing the eyes to focus behind an image (diverge), but also sometimes in front of the image (converge). However, with normal stereograms, this imposes a limit on the size of the image, since there is a limit to how much the eyes diverge; images created for the cross-eyed method can be larger. If a stereogram is viewed with the wrong method, the depth information is seen 'reversed'; points intended to be in the background appear in the foreground and vice versa.

A road crew in the outback of Australia happened to come across a snake enjoying a whole goanna for a meal. Pictures below o__O

The incident happened in Netherlands. An old lady on her little Fiesta crashed into a building. There was a lot of noise and smoke, but nothing serious. The reason is very simple and common for this type of accident - the old lady accidently accelerated instead of pushing the brake pedal …The guy that you’ll see in the post helped the old lady to get the car out of the building and he even repaired its wheel.

Huge Gas Explosion Illuminates Moscow's Night Skies Moscow on Sunday suffered its worst fire in decades when a gas pipeline blast sent flames bursting into the sky and raised new concerns about the security of Russia's ageing energy infrastructure. The fire produced spectacular plumes of yellow flames reaching 200 metres (600 feet) high and huge clouds billowing smoke were visible against the night sky, television pictures showed. Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov, who rushed to the scene, said that five people had been injured in the fire, including one man who received 35-percent burns, but there had been no fatalities.

Moscow airport Pulkovo donated a non-functional Tu-134 to St.-Petersburg's M.Ch.S. (Russian FEMA) S&R team for training purposes. Transporting the plane by land was impossible without disassemling it, so the brave guys simply airlifted it 650 km in windy/gusty conditions (had to delay the operation for several hours).
