Just outside of Tofino, British Columbia, Wayne Adams and Catherine King have built their own island. They call it Freedom Cove and it consists of 12 floating platforms. It runs off of solar power and they collect rain water for when they need it. They spent twenty years construction their own private island and it was worth every second.

Crane operator Robert MacFarlane captured something amazing while working on Yonge Street near the Air Canada Centre in downtown Toronto. He noticed that somehow a raccoon had made it all the way up to his crane which rests 700 feet in the air. He also mentioned that the raccoon defecated and left him a little present in the crane.

Austin Hatfield caught a deadly snake while he was in his girlfriend's backyard in Florida. He was playing with the snake pretending to kiss it on the forehead when the creature lunged at his face and bit him. The incident put him in the hospital and as you can see his face is pretty swollen.
