Yesterday North Korea fired dozens of artillery shells onto a South Korean island of Yeonpyeong. Two South Koreans are confirmed dead, dozens of injuries have been reported, a local news agency in South Korea is reporting that as many as two hundred artillery shells were fired. South Korea returned fire and dispatched fighter jets in response.
Here are photos from the tattoo collection at the Department of Forensic Medicine at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. The tattoos were collected from the prisoners of the nearby state penitentiary on Montelupich Street as well as from the deceased on whom autopsies were performed.
