18-year-old Kiki Vo survived a horrific fire in Vietnam years ago. She and her sisters received terrible burns, her mother died. Her dad with five of his daughters moved to the USA. Now Kiki Vo attends UC Berkely.
Spetsnaz is a general term for "special forces" in Russian, literally "special purpose". And these are the photos of the veterans of Russian Spetsnaz. The portraits were made by Russian photographer Dima Beliakov.
Francois Robert spent hundreds of hours to create this artwork. He called it "Stop the Violence." He purchased a human skeleton in the mid-90's, during an auction from an old school.
