Most of these are waayyy too busy and densely packed with information, so much so that I feel like I'm having to decipher some coded message or navigate some graphically designed obstacle course just to find the basic information.

I'm all for neat, hip, super cool design, but with projects like this, you have to question whether your design is working for you or working against you.

Cool. A lot of work went into these. I wouldn't hire a single one of them.
It's a recession, I'm not hiring anyone at the moment.
Plus, these are waaay too busy, and IMO a little childish.
I wanna see a simple, traditionally formatted, one page resume.
And so do most other employers.

Kryptor I think that depends on what business you're in. If you're looking for a graphic designer, someone who shows you a bit of his skill in his resume is likely to get the job.

That being said, most of these were awesome but some were too busy
