Most of the time you have to stand up to a bully. If you go and tell mom/dad or any other authority figure it will just keep the bullying ball rolling.
Taking the abuse just feeds them and gives them more power over you. Fight back and they (may) respect you a little more for standing up for yourself!
Props to the kid being picked on. Not a lot of people have the balls to stand up to abuse!
