Luis Moreno Kicks Owl during Soccer Game

Deportivo Pereira's Panamanian defender Luis Moreno hit an owl to get an injured animal of the pitch during the game Junior vs Deportivo Pereira in the Colombia Primara A. The owl survived with only a minor fracture to it's right leg. Spectators shouted abuse at Moreno for the rest of the game and after the game Moreno had to be escorted off the field by police. Later he said that he was sorry for this and he kicked the owl to see if it could fly.
Update. The owl died an hour ago :-(
