Torwald,
pleasing the audience was a side effect for not judging the terrain better. I am impressed by the fact that he never lost control of the car and he did not back off the throttle. A lot of drivers would slow down or even stop because they got shook up or scared. This driver is a man driver very impressive IMHO because I ran a race or two myself in the past.
