why is the policeman using his taser? i mean the situation did not need it, he could get the drunk guy from the lawnmower without any weapon. the drunk guy fell off, he could easily hurt his feet or arms with the cutting blades...
in austria where i come from last year a policeman from a small town on the countryside shot an 14 jear old boy in the back in a supermarket, and now that policeman has to go to jail for that.
weapon use on humans should only be allowed in extreme cases, in usa the cops tase people sometimes before talking to them, many deaths every xear,..., they even tased children and pregnant women!

Oh anangry...get a grip. A taser was the safest way for the cop to get the noncompliant guy off of the lawnmower. He wouldn't get off on his own. He refused to follow the officer's instructions. He got what he deserved. Plus, the blades aren't necessarily engaged when the engine is running, thus no danger of being cut. Obviously the guy is a repeat offender. He's had his chances. Stupid is as stupid does.
