Why your police use so often the guns? I know the answer is simple: fireguns in every house/person. That increases the possibilities of someone using a fireweapon to hurt...and the police need to be..cautious.
But from an external perspective is feels madness. Here in Europe a policeman using fireguns for control the situation is even controversial.
I respect your freedom to have fireguns...but maybe that is the big problem.
At least I sleep knowing that no one here is going to take a firegun and do a massacre.

Not sure you're aware, but there are a lot of people that don't speak english as a first language.
I'm going to guess that you couldn't speak his/her language nearly as well as that post you made fun of.

Any idiot that feels they are aware of cultural nuances without having the ability to communicate effectively with that culture should keep their comments to themselves. I may not be able to speak whatever language this person speaks, but I'm also not going to make comments regarding their culture either. To do so is to express one's ignorance through uneducated comments and opinions. I'm not sure if you know this, but communication is key to understanding new people and cultures. Without it you're just making assumptions based solely on one's own ignorance.

Nice try, but it's very, very simple:
- if you want to dispute his IDEAS, dispute them. That's what is called 'intellectual discourse' and it makes us all better people.
- if you attack his use of language? You're just being a dick.

I'm from Spain, my language is not English and can be hard sometimes to express correctly. For example, like the user Styopa say is not my first language, in my country we express: mother language.
So there you have a big difference in the use of the words. (Does this example show that I am well aware of cultural nuances?)
I only gave my opinion, always with respect, why you attack me? Because in my culture we do not have weapons? Because I openly show my confusion by the desire and possession of weapons?
You try to judge my knowledge of culture, but you are not even able to understand how strange it may be to another culture something they do not have.
ty to styopa for defend me, I hope I have not offended anyone with my opinion.
