Imagine being your car, being late because there's a traffic jam, it's really hot outside and then BAM! An idiot hits your car and you have to sit in the sun to get his insurrance and then get the car repaired which implies a week or two without a car.
If the accident didn't kill him, you might do it in an anger outburst.
And all this because a moron has a need for speed on the streets instead of a closed circuit where he can drive as fast as he wants.

Think of the financial impact. In serious crashes, most insurance companies total the vehicle. So you'll get paid squat and have to go buy another car on top of it, leading to payments and more debt.

Then what about pain and suffering? Even if a jury were to compensate you what it's TRULY worth, you think this ass wipe would pay? And for collateral damage? Doubtful. He's probably got $2 until he gets to the next bar.

Will you still have a job if you're out for a long time? In America, FMLA gives you 12 weeks. Who the hell has 12 weeks vacation saved up? And if it's an extended absence?

What about the strain on your family? This f*cking whore could EASILY kill someone at those speeds. Hope you said goodbye to your wife and kids that morning.
