Andy Stumpf (a former Navy Seal) holds the record for the longest wingsuit jump to date.
18.257 miles!!! He was in the air for over 9 minutes ...

Consider this. Hold your arm out the window of a car going 60mph for one minute ...
getting a sore arm just thinking about it.
Now consider these wingsuitests (new word I just made up) are traveling at around
120mph ... !! As speed doubles, wind resistance quadruples.

Over 9 minutes is a superhuman feat.

How does one LEARN how to do that?
It's not like you could practice-jump, pretty much you need to know absolutely what you're doing, first flight, no?
