What exactly is the point of this? What is Obama and Congress suppose to do? Pass more laws?

We already have a butt-load of laws that everyone ignores because they're ridiculous.

Let's just use Oscar Grant III as an example. ("Riding a communter train", 0:32)

Police were called to the station because ~20 men were fighting.
4 cops showed up, and tried to deal with the situation.
The many bystanders/participants (who appeared to be drunk, stoned, or both) were extremely belligerent toward the 4 cops.
Oscar Grant (a 22 year old that had been arrested 5 times since he was 18, and done 2 years in jail) was put on the floor to be cuffed. He continued to fight, struggle, and resist.
One officer called out that he thought he was going for his waistband, and the other officer panicked and shot Oscar.

LIKELY:
- Oscar wasn't going for a weapon, he was probably going to pull his pants up
- the officers were panicked and stressed from the gross outnumbering and behavior of the crowd
- the shooting was fundamentally unjustified (there was no gun) but to suggest that any of us wouldn't have made the same call, or that Oscar's continued fighting, criminal history, etc didn't contribute substantially to the lethality of the confrontation is simply lying.

If you activists can't even be honest about basic facts, nobody's listing to the rest of your crap.

I live near Cleveland. I pass that park twice daily and that shooting was justified. Dummy pointed a replica air pistol at the police. I would have shot him also.
