Serious question. Can they just roll it over? I cant imagine there would be much damage to the body or turret, or does the whole thing get bent and need loads of work on it?

The problem is the weight. if you roll it over with an other tank, some parts will be bend in the process. An other thing are the fluids... i think they've to got a "new" one...

the problem was with loading it - he didn't fit on to the platform properly. Was at a wrong angle.
This will be problematic to fix now

It's generally the hardest maneouvre with tanks - loading it on the truck, there are hundreds of movies with such accidents, who knows how many more unrecorded.

Ex recovery spec. 88 driver. Rolling it back over isnt easy buts thats how its done and have recovered many tanks that didnt make this maneuver. We were taught this very thing at recovery school
