it is the ice bucket challange and it is so ignorant that words cannot tell. it was started by a guy to get exposure for his friend's desease and to get donations for the ALS fundation, which is great.

you get to challange others to donate 100 bucks to the foundation within 24 hours or pour a bucket of ice water on themselves. then you do the same on camera.

only with this instead of actually donating to a good cause, people pour ice water on themselves and and experience the sensation that they did something for a good cause. when they didnt do fuck all. It is basically 'neknominate' without endangering your life

not applicable to those who poured water on themselves and then ACTUALLY donated.
