By no standard of classification is this techno, this and the original. This is trance. You could call it electronic music, as you can with techno. Since the authors clearly dont know the difference betweeen electronic sub-genres why not call it electronic music or EDM (electronic dance music). It is not simply techno just because you have heard the expression techno used on a piece of electronic music. Techno is a very distinct sub-genre of electronic music, so is trance.
