VW Golf II is Faster Than Bugatti

I doubt that the VW can launch many times without breaking.

You do realise that there is a very good reason why Bugatti spent Millions on developing the Veyron, and why that Golf is likely to suddenly find itself a heap of nuts, bolts, and engine bits rapidly spreading across a road surface don't you?

Anyone can stick a stupidly powerful engine into almost any chassis. It takes just a bit more work to make it remotely safe and reliable.

(and I'm not even a fan of the Veyron, it's a stupid pointless and irrelevant piece of engineering)

I don't care how fast it is if it looks like ass.

Never mind surviving a 200 mph crash.

Its amazing what a few bucks and a lot of know how can do. It may not be as reliable but getting that power to the ground from a small car is pretty hard to balance.

Agree with Jimmy, got a Alfa Romeo 166 diesel, could do 100 km/h for about 6-8 seconds (I don't know really) and it's still better than any golf II

The golf cars are not worth to update...
Why take crap to tuning when it could be an Impreza or Alfa GT for example
