He had one of 'his' cards prepared with his signature and gave this to the girls (and not 'their' cards as they thought). Later he just put the card from the girl into his mouth. The card he actually signed is still in/on the deck.
You can see how he puts the card on top of the deck, turns the deck over and fiddles with the cards, pretending to fold the one he just got from the girl..which is actually his card, as I said above.
