Damn that motor is hard as fuck. Why can't everything be built to commercial standards?

This looks like a runaway to me. Diesel engines can run wild if they start running on their own oil supply (blown turbo seals.) Disconnecting the battery will do nothing since a diesel engine does not require spark to run. The only way to shut it down is to physically block the air inlet to the motor in order to starve it of oxygen....and it doesn't look like this guy understands that.

how right you are Maxximtl, from what I understand those trucks
have Cummins Diesels in them ... basically the same engine that Dodge
puts in it's trucks ... and yes it is a legendary long lasting, industrial engine.

hopefully it runs outta fuel before it explodes...blocking the air is the way to go but at that point i dont think they even found the front of the car
