it's a rottweiler, isn't it? Well they are considered to be ones of the most dangerous dog breeds. I don't know what really happened out there, but I'm sure these kind of dogs should wear muzzles in public places.

You're a human, right? Well they are considered to be one of the most dangerous species.
It's never the dog's fault mate, it's the human who trains him, no mather what breed!
As long as you don't seem to know anything about dogs or their upbringing and training, I suggest you studie before you say something .
With Respect ofcourse

You're right and wrong at the same time. Some dogs can be just like that, something flips and they attack. That happened way too many times in history and their owners said - "oh I can't believe this happened, my puppy was always so sweet and loving, I just don't understand" and blah blah blah.. we have little kids out there on the streets, you can not tell a little child - "don't look at that dog, because it can trigger him to attack you" or "stay still, there's a big and maybe dangerous dog around"... the priority is safety of others, especially kids. I'm not against those so called dangerous dog breeds, I have a staffordshire bull terrier on my own and I think he's really friendly and great, but I would never ever let him anywhere near little children or take him to public place full of people without the muzzle, because my priority is public safety and not my personal opinion about my dog, which can be wrong sometime.. so I would suggest you to study before you tell me I'm wrong.

Dogs have their own characters as humans. Some are more aggressive than others. And some get crazy at some point of their lives (this doesn't seem to be the case though). In a civil place dogs should wear muzzles, just in case. Moreover we don't know the story, we don't know what the kid did, and kids' behavior is, of course, unpredictable as well.
