For the record, that is not a valid goal. You are not allowed to throw the ball from the sideline and directly in the goal. It has to be touch by a teammate.

Maybe you americans play "soccer" with other rules then us europeans. I don't know.

Skurupu : It would not have been a goal if the goalie did not touch it. Maybe instead of bashing American's you should know the rules to futbol/soccer before you type. A throw-in is an indirect ball, and either a player on your team or the opposing team can make the second play on the ball and making it a live ball which is valid for the goal.
