Human powered flight is done with the legs not by flapping wings with your hands. The chest muscles are far too small to provide enough power that's why a bicycle is used to provider the power.
Bird chest muscles are huge in proportion to their bodies, larger than the human leg muscles in proportion to human bodies.
The effort needed to take off in such a planes is huge and only good athletes can do that. This guy doesn't even break a sweat
