this method has been all over the internet lately..it really works
lock the iPad and get to the pass code screen..then close the smart cover (or use some other magnetic material to trigger the internal switch), open the smart cover again and cancel the pass code screen...then you have access to any open apps and can do stuff with them..you cannot open new apps in this state though
