Wow, very nice
I once built a normal "printer" with an earlier version of lego mindstorm
It worked with about the same principle as shown here, except there were only 2 heights, pen up and pen down. The Printer was able to write the initials of my science partner (LOL we were about 10 years old back then
) in letters that were about 12 centimeters high
(Mine were too complicated for our "programming tool" because round)

its a cnc MILLING machine, not a 3d printer. thats a big difference. Some 500 - 1000% price difference at industrial machines...
