There must be some burnable gas, but it has to be heavy to stay on the bottom so the fire could go from the top to the bottom of the jug which makes sense to me !

Very cool! It was making a real wierd noise then the camera guy had to open his mouth. They should re-do it and have him keep his mouth shut.
