I've got nothing against pitting oneself against a bull, but do they need to spear it and kill it at the end of the match? Just cruel and nonsensical.

If I were to be gored by the bull, it's my fault, for being stupid enough to cage myself with the beast. How could I create a situation and blame others for it not going the way I wanted? IMO, if the bull beats me the gods of the arena should give it a heifer to do with what it wills. 68
