fear not good people.
the bags you see here had been donated by local people and filled with old books and rags, and were used to test the new $25m baggage handling system at the new Christchurch International Airport which has just been opened.they were not from passengers and were not unclaimed or lost luggage.
The system is reported to have come through with flying colours (yes pun intended!)
