Normally I'm a fan of these flash mob antics, but that was just dumb. Apart from pissing everyone else off and risking lives what exactly was the point?

This was the whole city. cars stopped in their tracks on both sides. Was it a moment of memory for something? Surely one of our members has the answer to this mystery!

Yom Hazikaron
- Israel Memorial Day - at 11 am sirens signal a 1 minute of period silent remembrance. Even drivers in cars stop (as you see) and get out of their cars. You can hear the sirens in the video. When the sirens stop, the people get back in their cars and go on about their business.
Another example is on youtube. Notice the guy in black shirt even hangs up his cell phone.
