The video and concept was created by two university students from Aarhus (my hometown) in Denmark as part of a media studies class they were doing regarding viral videos. The planning of the video took 2 months and was "shot" last Saturday.
The girl, Diana, was not known to them and they waited for the right girl before springing the surprise.
Rune, the main character, and Diana are not getting married and as far as I know have not been in contact since the video was created, but I'm sure they will make contact now with the world-wide recognition it has recieved.
