This was probably the best documented earthquake ever, possibly the best documented natural disaster. An amazing thing is that, via the internet, everyone around the world can see the images without 2 days. An irony is that "tsunami" is a Japanese word. 51

I think at the time of this disaster, there were only 22 people in Japan that didn't have cell phones with cameras. this is probably the reason it was so well documented.
