well i don't know how long this escalator is, but shouldn't the people at the top see, that this escalator is way too fast and stay off it???

they should all move that fast. did u see how many people it moved along, it would also encourage fat people to use the stairs because they arent nimble enough to use the escalator.

Dodo: most of the escalators in DC are long enough that you can not see the bottom when there are people on it. Not to mention the crowds at rush hour on the Metro is unreal.
I still love the city.
