F1 used to be cool when it was actually about racing.
In the late 80's early 90's F1 races averaged speeds over 260 mph or thereabouts. Today, after some 20 years of research and development, the average speed of an F1 race is well under 250 mph even closer to 240 mph in most cases.
So if racing is supposed to be about as going as fast as you can, then F1 fails at what is supposed to be the ultimate motorsport.
The speeds dropped because the balls of the drivers shriveled and fell off. These pussies didn't want to die in a race before spending their multi-million dollar salaries. Which I thought was the reason why they were getting paid multi-million dollar salaries in the first place.
