Nature takes no prisoners.
The Caspian tern is an omnivore but favors a carnivorous diet that includes fish, insects, rodents, snakes, and the EGGS of other birds.
Canada geese, especially when nesting their young, are highly territorial and will not hesitate to attack humans, raccoons, bears, or coyotes that get too close to their nest sites. They may be herbivores but if their family's survival means killing intruders, they don't hesitate.
It's not murder, it's survival.
