I understand he's being sarcastic, but I was born and raised next to multiple train tracks that also happened to be next to an explosives manufacturer (C.I.L.) and for the most part, the only times we were aware of the trains or the explosions was when we had visitors.

Edit: To clarify, when I say explosions, I mean the semi-daily detonations that were conducted in contained areas to test their products.
