Miss Arab World is NOT a beauty pageant. the point of the contest wasn't to find the most physically attractive contestant. The point was to find the "perfect arab woman" strong, independent, friendly, cultured, congenial, stylish, generous and loving. If you had watched the contest, you'd know that they picked the woman that best fit those criteria.

it seems a good appetite is one of the criterias of beauty in the arab world :D

u ryt i've seen many somali ppl. around here in sweden they always cover their body and they look b.ful in their way of style i like it. it's gud to carry ur culture and traditions with u always

It's nice to see a contest for women that doesn't focus exclusively on the physical aspect of beauty. All the girls shown were pretty, and clearly there was some criteria other than "knocking boots" taken into consideration. This is cool!
