It seems like Norway is the best place in the world for mass murders. Let's see where Anders Breivik will spend the next 21 years of his life for the murder of 77 innocent men and women. Welcome to the Ila Detention and Security Prison in Oslo, Norway. Anders Breivik's prison cell, or should I call it apartment, has three rooms - bedroom, working room and gym. You can see the bedroom in the first photo.

I would imagine that there is no clear cut choice on who they can decide to try to rehabilitate. I would have thought that everybody gets the same opportunity for rehabilitation. And having looked at the pictures in the link you posted I don't think that it is all that nice where he is going to spend the rest of his days.

Thank you Skurupu, for a little bit of enlightenment.

I am a south european unemployed graduate, struggling between despair of the economic crisis and applications to underpaid jobs and abroad jobs that will part me from my loved ones. And wishing i was born norwegian (i would likely have a job, family, nature and healthy life). Being portuguese and jobless: impossible.
That room is actualy biggerr than the one i live in. The furniture is better.
I dont have free medical assistance. If i go to the dentist i have to pay a lot.
He gets 8 euros per day. I get nothing. I dont have any income. No jobless benefits, nothing. I live on charity of my parents, who have few money themselves.
Internet is the only "luxury" i have.
I wish i could go to a gymn. I cannot afford it. And exercise on the streets is all about gas smoke and danger of robery or violence. Breivik has free gymn. You might say "well you can go out", but i hardly can because the place where i live is so ugly and dangerous. Blocks of concrete buildings and nearly no green areas.
Breivik is jailed. But i dont think he is very depressed. He knew that would happen.
I am basically "jailed" at home, no hopes, just sorrow and depression.
Breiviks crime: a massacre
My crime? Being born portuguese. A crisis devastated country where real numbers of unemployment are hidden, where people are impoverished everyday and 60% of jobs pay under the limit of poverty.
So, while i, that never hurt anyone, and struggled hard to pay my university expenses just to find myself on the verge of poverty and a very painful future, depressed and stuck in this room, Breivik will calmly go on with his life on his cozy prison cell until he goes out and will go on with his life free supported by tax payers, on beautiful green Norway.
