I'm sure your toes will be fine; it's safe to take dip. These are deep sea fish that are only found 1000+ feet underwater.

Yeah, your toes are about all you'll want to put in the waters off Greenland....and even then it will be only for a very brief moment or two. The temp of the water isn't much more than 32F most of the time!
