this story is crazy:
the accountant that was handling the tax payment (of $14 yearly) on behalf of the homeowners ... quit ... back in the eighties !!!
so the property tax wasn't paid for over thirty years, therefore it went up
for auction in 2015. The couple who bought it have a history of quietly sneaking
in a buying properties in this manner.
Needless to say the homeowners are suing the city ... I would too
