Ruairi Gray, a 22-year-old British student decided to leave a pineapple at an exhibition going on in Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon’s University which he bought for $1. It was just a prank, but the curators deemed it as a work of art and decided to place it in a glass case where it was on display for two days.

It's not the art, but the snobs who believe anything is art.
Like the experiment with monkey that threw paint on a paper, the painting got on an exhibition and every snob starting opinions about what the artist was expressing.
