In industrial use, 3M is widely known as an over-hyped, pretentious company. What's that "security" glass going to hold up to if I drive a truck through it?

Yeah, they make tape and glue. What a bunch of egomaniacs.

U suck - Obviously you are retarded. 3M makes thousands of products. None of which can't be replaced by competitive brands at far better prices. 3M's paint protection film, for example, is marketed to the retail consumer as some high end product, when in reality it's mid-grade at best. It yellows and shows orange-peel over time. They didn't make their own window film until the patents expired so they wouldn't have to pay royalties to the patent-holder. Up until then, they bought it from a third party manufacturer and put their logo on the box.

You wouldn't know that since you're still in grade school, genius.

U Suck - Whether my reply was boring or not doesn't come close to your stupity if you thought 3M only made tape and glue. What rock have you been living under?

3M makes ink, paint, polymers, catalysts, vinyl products, pinstriping, graphics, security film, window film, protection films, industrial adhesives, insulation, foam, fibreglass weaves, plastics, alloys, overlays, heat conductive materials, heat repellent materials, silicone-based materials like plexiglass, bullet-proof glass, weather and temperature resistant fabric, and oh yeah, they make tape and glue too. Thanks, buddy.

I never said they only make tape and glue. You're making things up. Like the word "stupity", which I assume was supposed to be "stupidity"? That was hilariously ironic.

And my original post didn't require needlessly rattlling off 50 products to get the point across, "glue and tape" should have more than sufficed. I don't understand what you're not getting here?

U Suck - As usual, when people have nothing left to defend, they attack their protagonists' spelling. This isn't English class, nor is anyone's point marred by their spelling if they get their point across.

Of course, you would use spelling as a basis for your non-point given the fact you're still in school.

My original point was 3M is a pretentious company showing off their supposed shatter-proof glass. It's neither glue or tape, thanks. What point did you miss there?

Since we've apparently digressed to splitting pubic hairs, rattling only has one "L'. And I haven't rattled off 50 products, I've rattled off about 10,000.

Jimmy Johnson,
Wow, it's like talking to a brick wall... I'll try to explain it in very simple terms, and hopefully you get it this time.

I wasn't "correcting your spelling", I was pointing out that when you call someone "stupid", or a a derivative of the word "stupid", spelling it wrong makes YOU look stupid. That's why I said it was ironic. Do you get it now..?

And even after explaining my OTHER simple comment about it being a "tape and glue company" and not feeling the need to list EVERY damn product they make, you still don't get that either. It's obvious you're one of these stubborn people who will never admit he didn't understand something and if it's something you have no control over, that's okay. We understand. I'll await your expected reply because you're one that needs to get in the last word, and like I said, that's okay. It's part of your control disorder.
