A few of these are staged (#41 looks a lot like a re-enactment of the raising of the American flag on Iwo Jima during World War II) even discounting those obviously done for the photo op (#40 where the girls are on what appear to be abandoned subway tracks.) The latter are still idiots, though, so they fit the title.

#49 happens all the time here in Texas. Being an agricultural state, most of our roads are "Farm to Market." All people use them, but they were made to get equipment from one field to another and to transport the harvest to town where it is put into trains or trucks and carried to the buyer. However, even as a resident of Texas, I won't argue much against the idea that the state itself is an idiot.
