Jabuticaba is a fruit tree that grows in southeastern Brazil.
It's also often called Brazilian Grape Tree and its fruits are grown on its trunk.
Common in Brazilian markets, jaboticabas are largely eaten fresh.

Wonderful! They look almost like they were caused by a blight that make pus-filled cysts grow all over the trunk. Probably very delicious cysts though.

This is one of the most sweetest and delicious fruits I know. It has a thick black peel that we easily blow biting it - to be presented with an uncommon sweet white pulp.
Like grapes, once you taste one, you can't stop eating it.....
