6: I know someone (an overclocker) who took his entire motherboard, mounted it on a sliding rack and put the entire assembly into an air-conditioning vent, where the air was blowing on it at a constant 58 F (14 C)....it was brilliant.

17: "hey, they have this cool slimline desktop case that's less bulky, should I get it?"

#6 & #12 if it works it isn't cringe worthy. Maybe not idea but it gets the job done.

#4 & #5 I hate nasty laptops. Why do people think a laptop is a plate or and ash tray.

#17 all he had to do wast take the bracket off the card and it would have fit.

17 is a Dell optiplex case. Where they messed up is the video card actually comes with low profile slot adapters that they neglected to use. At the least, they could have removed the VGA plug(it plugs in via ribbon cable)
