Photographer Adam Hinton recently released a new book featuring intimate portraits of members of the MS -13 gang. These gang members were once riding high due to a life of crime, but now they spend their days in one of Central America's most dangerous prisons.

it's tragic that life does not have more to offer them. at an early age they often have no choice but to join these gangs or they face the consequences - and it's all downhill from there.
