At one point the Traffic Elevated Bus was hyped up as the future of transportation in China, but the hype has since died down. The bus has been abandoned at the testing site, and it's currently being looked after by a pair of security guards who say they've been forgotten about as well.

A great idea actually. However, it can only be used in new as you need to design the streets with this in mind.
Imagine it as a tram that doesnt slow down traffic.

Also, it was a prototype. Its meant to gather dust now. There are very few road legal prototypes (how would a unique car pass a crash test?)
