A girl named Kaitlyn Rea Duran from North Wales recently plugged in her phone at night so she could charge it, but the phone exploded and her entire room caught fire. It's estimated that the room will take about 6 months to repair.

Since when is explosion and combustion the same thing? An explosion is defined as: a violent and destructive shattering or blowing apart of something. This phone clearly did not "explode"?
